Jack Patterson helms the video for Miss You, featuring Julia Michaels, and employs some Seven Nation Army-style transitions in locations including Filmore & Western Railway, and Epping & Ongar Railway.
Following on from their well-received collaboration, ‘Rodney’, a few months back, Espa teams up with Flatbush Zombies‘ Erick Arc Elliot once again for her new Giggs-assisted single, ‘Swan Song’.
“Swan Song has been the canvas on which I have tried to paint a soundscape that marries some of my weird and wonderful influences. I must be the luckiest girl in the world to get to work with seminal UK rapper, Giggs, at the same time as being produced by Erick Arc Elliott. Together we have fused UK rap with East Coast hiphop, and added a dash of impressionist classical music for good measure. We’re an unlikely trio but sometimes out of the most surprising collaborations something magical is created.” – Espa
Youth Hymns have created this atmospheric little video for electro-pop duo Cash + David’s track Pains 4 U. It sees the artists perform in a largely empty house which has been lit up in a large-scale lightshow of highly contrasted, vibrant neon colours. But the mood that’s created is one of loneliness, with as the two figures amble around the misty, littered space. The result is a highly watchable and dreamy video with a cool, staccato edit and lovely lighting design.
FROM THE DIRECTOR
YOUTH HYMNS:
“Our man Lee hooked up an old house with 1,000 remote controlled coloured lights. We then stood outside the house in the middle of the night and got busy conducting a concerto of patterns and colours. It was like Fantasia or something. The nosey neighbours thought they were hallucinating.

Britain’s Got Talent stars Bars and Melody have unveiled the video for their brand new single ‘Hopeful’.
Teenage duo, Charlie Lenehan and Leondre Devries, stole the hearts of the nation with their audition on the ITV talent show in May, and now they’re gearing up to release their debut single via Simon Cowell’s label Syco Music!
Empire Mates Entertainment is proud to present the official video for Banky W’s “Jasi”. The song was produced by MasterKraft, and features additional background vocals by EME starlet Niyola. The hilarious clip was shot in Lagos, Nigeria and London.
“Jasi” highlights Banky W’s playfulness AND versatility. Very few artistes worldwide are able to change styles as effortlessly as Mr W can… and here we see him temporarily set aside his “King of Afro-R&B” crown to pull off this Afrobeats/Afropop club banger, and it works quite well. The video also shows his acting skills as Banky plays more than one role, in the same scene, in the vein of an Eddie Murphy or Tyler Perry.
Shot by Uber Director Sesan, the video is quite hilarious and features cameos from MasterKraft, and Lynxxx… and we hope you have as much fun watching it, as we did filming it. Here’s to Africa’s most versatile Artist, Banky W.
Joel Compass has unveiled debut single ‘Run’
