Alexandra is giving a big clapback at her critics with a big return to the music scene. It’s 10 years since she won the X Factor and just a few months after wowing with her quickstep, Alexandra is back where she belongs behind the mic and blasting out her incredible vocals. Side note, it’s also 10 years since she did that ridiculous duet with Beyonce. Best X Factor moment ever. Now, a decade on from that incredible performance and straight off the back of her stint on Strictly, the 29-year-old has been beavering away putting the final touches to her album The Truth, which she’ll drop on 16 March.
She’s starting with her first track, Shadow, with a simple and to the point video that showcases her huge vocals. Alexandra said of her new music: ‘This album is incredibly personal to me. I have poured my heart and soul into my new music and it reflects the incredible journey I’ve been through – highs and lows, love and loss. ‘It feels amazing to finally be sharing this album with everyone and I hope they enjoy hearing what The Truth Is.’ As well as new music, Alex announced her first UK headline tour since 2010, starting in September. She’ll be performing at venues across the UK including the London Palladium.
